Small town America. Pride in and love of country run high in communities like this. Today a ceremony was held to commemorate those who died on September 11, 2004. A lot of politicians were there - and said surprisingly little, even those I have jokingly referred to as having the middle name "Never turns down a chance to speak". It was a quiet ceremony, led mainly by World War II and Korean War veterans - men, now in their late 70s and 80s, who still stand tall and salute when the flag passes by.
