Summer is unfortunately limited to two months, thou by the book it should be three. This ofcourse results in everyone taking their vacation at the same time. If you would like to enjoy the lovely towns and hamlets like Pärnu, Võsu, Käsmu or Kuressaare before the crowds looking for summer arrive - try to do so a little earlier than mid-summer day (Jaanipäev, St John's Day). There are usually one or two spectacularly beautiful spring weeks in April and May aswell. The countrylife, where not yet extinct is adorable.
