Last year we had some pretty bad wildfires in our area. One afternoon the smoke got so thick it turned day into night with some really strange colored light. I grabbed the tripod and headed out into the desert to try to capture some of this. I had several images I really liked and this one I entered and was recognized with the Honorable Mention.
