While learning the ropes with the new DSLR, I found this old car mirror, that had a Ball and Socket type mount (the ball is only 3/4 of an inch in diameter) and laid it face down with the ball end up and focused on it. The reflection looked really cool, except I was too promient in the image. So I set it up on the deck, placed the camera on the deck and crouched down out of view to get the resulting image. You can see the camera lense in the very middle of the ball. I am glad the judges liked this image so that both my cameras were used to win this year.
