Thomas, I really like all the layers and shapes involving wood here...nice choice of crop. Effective play of shadow and light too. There's a lot to see here. MFC

What takes this shot to another level for me is the second level of background detail, where the doorway behind the doorway opens to more light. I think there is actually a third level, a small section of framing picked out by light even behind the third doorway. And nearly everything in the frame is wood. A real winner. --David W.

Thomas, I really like your perspective and level of DOF. The contrasts of dark and light, curves and straight lines, and painted and unpainted wood are very pleasing to the eye. Altogether, a fine representation of our topic.---Deb
