This adult male Ruby-throated Hummingbird aggressively guarded this feeder hanging in the shade of a holly bush. He wouldn't share the feeder with others, either male or female. Occasionally another bird would sneak in and briefly feed while he was off chasing other intruders. The following day he began his annual southward migration.
