My dear Nana always told me as a little girl while
we made salad together.

"You need to eat carrots for Vitamin A. You need to
take care of your eyes."

I realize now how true her statement is.

We need to take care of our eyes because it is all
we have. If we lose our eyesight, we don't have
our hearing to fall back on.
