I didn't look closely at the gallery but am I the first to enter one of these? I took the neck brace off for this so I hope it was worth it. I have no idea what the hell I am doing regarding self portraits. This is the first official one, not counting the one I did for the "Dark Side" challenge.

Ah, yes, Mrs Hamilton looks familiar - you did use her image in a challenge or two, correct?

Iso, what are you worried about? Anytime you're feeling a tad insecure, just sneak her a peek of that oh-so-attractive sickly self-portrait! LOL! Ok, well, maybe you'd best stick to the naked chair shot. I must admit, there's a nice manliness to that foavorite of mine, the wide angle with you bent at the waist to look into the lens. ~ Lonnit

Oh...

(I am looking at my shoes and blushing)

He doesn't want his wife to see your rugged good looks.

Huh?

I think Mrs iso would like this. I've added it to my blocked sites list.

Weren't there some images back in CH7 of her that were really good?

Lonnit,

She isn't usually a willing model. Here she is though:

Remember the whole limo story? Coming from this face there is none of the terror there was as when it was coming from the Lounge Lizzard! LOL! ;) It's a good face - you could use it here more often without scaring little children either. :) But seriously folks, it's a nice image. I like the expression very much. Great mood. BTW, noticing the wedding band, I'm wondering, have wee seen Mrs Hamilton in any of the challenges?

Very nice self-portrait. Lots of good mood and feeling. Interesting to note that it looks like the way you see yourself, which means you've given us a glimpse of what you feel is the "real" you. -Michael

Grant, you do have a good face. A really tired looking one, but a good face, nonetheless.

Thanks Alexei...I hope you were referring to "Having or showing qualities of high moral character, such as courage, generosity, or honor" and not "Chemistry: Inactive or inert."

It is kind of weird looking at this image. I am always taking pictures of other people and the only ones of me are sort of point and shoot affairs that I don't think really look like me. So it is very different to see a picture that actually looks like the way I see myself.

Grant, Would like it better with out the two white squares to your left and a little more light on the camera.
