Hollycombe New Building by Mike Parsons

Liphook, UK.

I liked the strongly repetitive elements of this roof structure, including the lights.

Great shot. Powerful symmetry & composition.

Thanks for all the helpful comments - as suggested I've done a bit of cloning and cropping at the right, bottom and top-left to remove the head and improve symmetry.
Mike.

Bold and interesting shape. I like the various repeating patterns, but I think I'd crop out everything below the lowest horizontal lintel. That would eliminate both the head and the non-repeating doors (or are they dark brown frames) on the right hand side. Great photo. Good eye, Mike.

Mike, you must really remove that head !

Excellent symmetry and a great balance of visual attributes in many different ways.

Cloning a human head? DON'T! Rather chop it off! :)
Interesting pattern, it is unfortune that the left side wall is much darker. MCsaba

Mike, strong architechtural statement. One thing bothers me - what appears to be the top of a human head at the lower left. I would crop or clone it out.
best, Barry

The dynamics in this image are very strong...the sky showing at the top confirms the upward movement. It's so powerful.

I agree - this is a nice piece of architecture and shooting. Lots of repetition and great contrasts in lighting and shapes.
Good shot, Mike.
To truly nitpick, you could shave just a bit off the right to get get both sides equal.

Mike, interesting and appealing subject. I share your liking for the structure. Good colours and light too, plus this shot straight down the middle is a good choice to accentuate the sameness of the elements into the distance.
