Taken just after sunset. I was hoping the Sun would set over this part of the lake but it is still too far North.
I know I will be back to this location as we get into fall the sun will return to the left and should end up dead center in this image. So maybe I will have fall colors in the trees as well.
One of those spots I hope I can remember, to be at the right place at the right time.
Shot on the 20D in B&W mode. Converted from RGB to Grayscale, then Duotone (monotone) simple single S curve. Then Brightness&Contrast, Unsharp Mask. Switched mode back to RGB so I could save as a .jpg. Saved as edit, resized with my lovely homemade action that resizes, duplictes the layer, makes the canvas larger, adds that awesome DROP SHADOW and then flattens all layers, then I save as imgxxxx edit sized and upload.
