SP: Fade to Black

A small edge of blow out hightlights from a backlight fading to midtones and then Fade to Black, alot of black.

In Photoshop I converted to grayscale then duotone, (true duotone using my custom built duotone of black and gray each with it's own curve). Cropped my forehead and some of the dead space on the right. Cloned my right eye to make up for the droopy look my left eye had in the original. Adjusted brightness/contrast a little more. Then I used the burn tool to remove my ear and added a little more curve to the edge of the final shadow.

The bad original can be found here. http://www.pbase.com/lundy/image/47302670

You're right - this picture is way better than the original. Great editing, to say the least.
