Indeed, there were plentiful bass in Baynes Lake, and we caught dozens. The problem: a six-incher was a monster at Baynes Lake... So, we decided to move on yet again, this time to take a look at Surveyor's Lake. We found Surveyor's easily enough, but the little lake did not have a boat launch. The day ended with Frankie and I camped out at the back of a motel at Wasa Lake. Thanks to the proprietor who let us stay on the back 40! The Provincial Park campgrounds were plumb full, and the gate was closed at the nearby private campground. No vacancy anywhere this busy long weekend.
