One of the best things about sunflowers is you can photograph them standing up. None of the grubby hands and knees stuff! These make a great study. Make sure you try B&W.
that is a really nice shot ,very sharp and way nice color.just the whites are kind of too bright.you can use the flash and expose for the flower with a small fstop and then the white part of the sky will get dark.(just a suggestion)
