OH MY, GOOD SHOT!
Stu21-Jul-2005 00:55
Looks smaller than the Scottish crow... unless that's a whole banana in its beak!
Cliff20-Jul-2005 23:57
You caw-t him just perfectly!
Jude Marion20-Jul-2005 22:41
Was that for his peanut butter sandwich???
I agree with others ... wonderful detail!

I have a thing for crows- this is a great, super sharp shot.
In NYS the crows seem to get bigger and bigger every year; soon they'll be the size of rottweilers.

Pin sharp. These little beggers will eat anything, sit on the garage roof and moan at you.
Antonis Sarantos20-Jul-2005 17:48
Reminds me of an old tale "the crow and the fox"!

I am guessing his 'remedy' was a little more potassium in the diet?
Guest 20-Jul-2005 15:31
Very sharp...pic and beak!
northstar3720-Jul-2005 13:33
Reminds me of a 1930s Hollywood producer, with the big cigar.

Dead on focus. Very detailed. DOF is super and bokeh is smooth. Funny capture.

for awhile there i thought this was shot with the 10-22mm. i would be bowing to you if that was the case. :)

This had to be a hard exposure but you nailed it. Funny shot and great detail. Hope he enjoyed it.

Such clarity...good detail to those feathers.
Chris20-Jul-2005 04:24
I second Derek. Nice sharp shot, from the sand in the foreground up through the feathers. Beautiful shot of a homely little fellow. :)

Good light and detail for your banana lover with its challenging black feathers. Well done.

Agreed. Difficult to get definition/clarity on these guys feathers. Nice!
Robin Reid20-Jul-2005 03:45
Outstanding exposure of a very difficult subject. Excellent scene.

Better for her than french fries or barbecue sunflower seeds.
Guest 20-Jul-2005 02:55
I agree with Pepe, you got good light on this one to bring out the feathers.
Elaine (etfitz)20-Jul-2005 02:55
Nice catch!
Pepe Zyman20-Jul-2005 02:37
Excellent exposure, it's very difficult to get detail out of them and you did it!
