Was invited to Blacon School summer concert tonight, together with the main band MD, by Tony Blain - father of Kirsty. This is Kirsty playing a solo. I think the young lad's face sums up how good he thinks it is :)

Good night, and the new Lord Mayor of Chester, Mike Jones made an excellent speech and made an effort to mingle throughout.... Our band marches in 'his' Lord Mayor's Parade on Saturday in Chester.... good photo opp!

I am LOL at the boy's expression. Maybe he's just at that age where he doesn't really like girls. ;) Great shot and no matter how they play, it's wonderful that you're working with these kids.

Looks like a star for the band in the making. The tenor horn is a great solo instrument - after the cornet of course ;-)
