Jeffry, sincerely, I love these two shots, but I'll vote for the other one! Why? Coz more chocolate's there!

I like the idea. I think a less strong front lighting might have worked better. It would have given you less over exposed highlights. maybe if you lit from behind with a white reflector in front (white foam board works great)

I love the contrasts between the cream coloured frosting, through the mid tones, to the rich dark flowing chocolate. Well chosen background as well. Lovely photo.

I really like this shot, it's far less of a classic choc-shot.
I wonder if you couldn't do more with the texture and reflections of the chocolate oozing out in the foreground, though. I'm not quite sure what, but perhaps getting the foreground in focus as well....
I love the contrast between the aluminium, the whatever-it-is, and the oozy choc; and the title enhances the organic nature of your shot.
Must rush off for a choc fix now! ;-)
