19th June

Just after the F1 last night(this morning!)
I was flicking through the 4 channels we have to choose from
when a light flashed at the window.
I sat there wondering if it was me flickering or if it was lightning
and indeed it turned out to be lightning!!
it thundered and lightning from 1am right through to 7am
and with my room being in the roof(attic) i heard every boom, bang and drop of rain
so hardly got any sleep tsk

it was abit worse in Perth and on the Isle of Arran though i see from the News :-o

The race coverage is just starting, I can hear the music
and then its Top Gear again,
i'll catch up with commenting after that :-)

A look inside the fernery would be nice. I love listening to storms but the attic room may be a trifle too loud.

I recon the ducks are off to the fernery

Heard Arran got the bad weather thought it might be the same on Bute.

Nipped out for this shot Zak, looks very dry on Bute! I opened the curtains to see if it was worth doing some lightning shots, all I could see were bright flashes of cloud though!

Looks like the race was a nonevent.

Lovely, reminds me of Tiree, many moons ago.

I love your shots of signposts. You could start a gallery!

The fernery sounds interesting. Any pictures of that. What a crap F1.....

we've got the thunder right overheard at the moment - it's taken rather a long time to travel from Bute! I like the shot of the sign - I don't recall seeing the "victorian fernery" yet in your PAD - what's that?

Nice shot, more interesting than the Grand Prix by the look of it.
