First of all, thank-you for the comments and votes for yesterday’s photo. It was a really nice
surprise this morning when I logged in!

The sun was gently warming the back garden last night, so I sat out in the garden nice and warm for
a couple of hours reading a book. All the time thinking about how the summer so far has been so
poor that I had better grasp the opportunity quickly. True to form I woke up this morning to grey
skies again.

The main PAD photo is of a red acer my folks planted in their japanese garden - you can just see a
hint of the same tree in today’s other shot. The extra of course, comes to you thanks to having
one of the laziest (or is that most chilled?) cat’s in the world!

Incidentally, today's photo is number 298. I'm basically well into the home straight now!
