5/29: Harvard Flowergirl

My first Felix Rust-ish attempt :) I just don't have as big a stable of willing and cute models - so I had to improvise.

This was a scene outside the church in Harvard Yard while I was showing my mom around the city.

One other shot I like below:

FujiFilm FinePix S7000Z
1/420s f/5.6 at 31.0mm iso200 full exif

other sizes: small medium large original auto

I like the sepia tone Della. Wonderful light. The imagination of a child expressed so well.

Impressive picture the bigger one Della, I like much the soft contrast of the little girl and the bulding

I can't add much more to the other comments. The Sepia is an inspired move.

Wow. Best serendipitous shot I've seen. If you asked her to pose, it wouldn't have looked so good. Great composition and tone.

This subtle sepia works well here. The bricks still have a nice red tone. Both images are really well done, particularly for your spontaneous spotting of the situation. A professional wedding photographer would be lucky to get such excellent and memorable shots.

Great shot and processing. Thanks for having the camera handy!

Very Felix in tone, but I think you've got your own quality and perspective. Just enough shadow against the pillar to give her depth in the frame.

A very beautiful image and the sepia tone is perfectly suitable. You captured a perfect moment and the involuntary model is better than a posing one.
Also the other picture is fantastic!

Both are very well done.

Both of these are wonderful. I really like the one of the flower girl.

Well, it is sepia-toned and (along with black and white) it helps create the mood that the image needs to express it's subdued power. Nicely done Della.

Outstanding image Della!! You've managed to capture a real sense of innocence here, and the B&W is perfect. Well done!
