This is the South Division Street area of the East Side of Buffalo. As a child and young person growing up in the suburbs south of Buffalo I remember traveling this area and being concerned for our well being. Locking doors and rolling up windows. I believe it is a part of Buffalo that burned during the riots in 67-68.

Today, with Federal, State and local money and effort it is a relatively comfortable area of the East Side. It takes just a step at a time, but eventually, maybe, we can all learn.
