May 27, 2005

If you ever have the opportunity to spend a little time in Buffalo, and you are a fan of the Blues, the Lafayette Tap Room has the best Blues Bands on the shores of Lake Erie. Good music in a retro atmosphere.

On another note.

I have missed you folks the last few days, it is good to be back.

As everyone is so nice on this site and I truly missed PaDing, I feel as if I need to explain my absence from the PaD for the last few days. It was a computer problem. Last Thursday, May 19, I visited Photosig and hit something there that caused copious pop ups to start running on my computer. Bottom line, I found no virus, did find a Trojan and spent the last few nights saving data and programs, formatting my hard drive and installing Windows XP. It was a really big hassle. I am never visiting Photosig again. I didn't stop taking photos, just could not publish them.

Nonetheless it is great to be back, good to hear from you folks, I'll catch up on my visits to your galleries this weekend. Thanks.

Welcome back Don. We all disappear sometimes for a few days but it is usually for a break or a holiday not a major computer problem. Glad you got it sorted.

Sorry 'bout that. I like those blues and whites. And I bet I'd like the place itself, too, because I'm a bluesguy myself. And by the way; thanks for visiting my gallery.

I quit Photosig a couple years ago after they changed it around and p*ssed a lot of people off. Haven't missed it one bit (and they still send me spam mail!).

That is tough about the May 19 Trojan.... what a PAIN. So welcome back Don.
I like this shot a great deal ... the blues are so vivid against the whites. Interesting building. And all that music. wow!

It even looks inviting with those nice blue tones against the white walls. Very nice. Gots to love blues.
