Police officers and the town held a bike rodeo for kids under 12 years old. I went as part of a work assignment for the paper and it turned out to be a lot of fun to watch. The officers checked out the bikes and then put the kids through an obstacle course of cones, circles and other assorted challenges. From the look on his face, you'd think Jared was getting a ticket from Officer Nick. Jared's sister contemplates the whole scene while picking her nose.
