Thanks for your comment, John. Too bad digital cameras don't have the dynamic range to capture such a scene as we see it with our eyes. I had to severely overexpose the moon to make the leaves visible against the not yet fully dark sky. Unfortunately I didn't have my tripod with me, so I did this one handheld at iso800, 1/5 s, at an equiv. focal length of 200 mm. Only thanks to antishake the sharpness is still quite acceptable. Part of the blur probably is also due to slight movement of the leaves.

This one works well too Georg. The leaves could perhaps be a bit sharper, but I guess focus was a bit problematic in this lighting and greater sharpness may not even have been what you were after. The moon creates a good sun effect without the intensity of the sun. The moon is well framed by the hole between the leaves and I like the tones of the whole image. Cheers, John
