That's quite a plant. The black spiky parts underneath make a nice contrast with the white star petals.

Interesting flower and well shot Cheryl! This is one of those plants with great potential. I'm sure you could spend a long time photographing from many different perspectives and lighting styles.

It grows on a taller plant than a dandelion and the seedpods/parachutes are more like paper than fluff.
