U-NO

Every time I see a U-NO candy bar I think of my maternal grandfather. I think I only
saw him a few times, he was pretty absent from our lives. He must have brought
this candy bar on one of his rare visits.

I used to love these, bought them as a kid. I tried them again a while back and there was something different about the taste...

It reminds me of Grandpa Hawkins, because the Gardner cousins gave him that card with all the different types of candy bars a long time ago and he had it hanging up in his workshop with all the empty wrappers. Every time I see one I think,
"U-Know I love you"

Not familiar with this... but it's chocolate, so it must be good... right!

As child, about 70 years ago I thoughtt these were the ultimate in a candy bar. It was about 50 years later that I saw them again so had to have one. It tasted as if I had put a big blob of Crisco in my mouth--ugh. Now the name says: "oooh, no!!! Luv, Mom

This is a new one for me. Looks yummy though. This is a great photo. It could be in an advertisement for it.

It looks delicious..but I am a chocolate nut so anything to do with it is appealing.

It isn't as good as chocolate ice cream and peanut butter!
It's kind of a light whipped chocolate with a dark chocolate outer coat. It melts very easy.

Don't think I've had one of those! Does it go well with peanut butter?
