Cheryl this is beautiful!
A unique picture! I love it! Great DOF too
When you think you've seen all the dandys there is... nature throws a sweve ball!
Nice job Cheryl!
Looks like what we call Cobblers Pegs. Catch in your clothes & spread like mad. A real pest in other words.
Great photo Mom!
Well it sure isn't any dandelion I've ever seen! Incredibly sharp agains the deep bokeh - nice shot and post work!
they're barely hanging on
Whatever it is, it's wonderful. Love the detail.
wow - lovely!
soooooooo sharp against the background!
Coleen Perilloux Landry
That's quite a plant. The black spiky parts underneath make a nice contrast with the white star petals.
Interesting flower and well shot Cheryl! This is one of those plants with great potential. I'm sure you could spend a long time photographing from many different perspectives and lighting styles.
Really fantastic shot!
Cheryl said puff... ;)
Cool - thanks for the info!
Jeanne, that has to be it! I have a Crumpler!
I can tell you have a Crumpler!! This is GORGEOUS! See what happens when you put your camera in a Crumpler!?!?! LOLL!!!
It grows on a taller plant than a dandelion and the seedpods/parachutes are more like paper than fluff.
Is this a form of a Dandelion? Beautiful capture!
