Now about the bowl it is only red and uncolored, the top of the rim is clear but looks black in certain angles because of reflections form the red. The white is cut out (beveled) and thus changes the direction of the light causing interference i think.

Red is my favorite color so this pic is a winner just for that. I find it very interesting that the clear glass (white) cast such a dark shadow. I noticed that the rim of the vase is black and expected to see a dark shadow. But, to see the other parts black just left me wondering.

I'm much into clean and graphical forms in an image. This entry of yours if fabulous in this respect. The shadow adds another dimension to it. Congrats !
