Looks like the turret to a castle. Really like the earthy tones of the stone wall. The wall greatly enhances the swirl of the staircase.

Bruce, nice one. lines and shadows in all sorts of directions. At first I thought it was shot looking up, turned upside-down. Then after closer examination I made out the steps. Good one. Marc B

Good one, Bruce. Here the shadows really deceive the eye. Very cool shadow effect.
