The actual bed and bedding on which Gen. Stonewall Jackson died May 10, 1863 after being mortally wounded at the Battle of Chancellorsville.
The building to which he was transported for care, the Chandler House, is also known as the Jackson Shrine.
He was buried at Lexington.
