Cardgame Dongjiadu, Shanghai 2004

I took several images, but this one was my favourite. They were having fun, and I was a minor distraction to their game of cards. If I am having that much fun when I am their age, I will be a happy man.

A photo potraying the essence of life. May be the golden days passed for these gentlement - but they are still enjoying life. Wonderful capture. The mood it portrays is awesome.

Can you imagine the sum of life experience these people have together . Probably all so diverse. I would not mind hearing a few life stories... You show us wonderful human beings.

A flock of pigeons.Pecking with excitable pleasure.Detouring smiles into a fallen street corner.Shuffling about times,perhaps older than themselves.Cooing about places where they have fluttered.If not in this life.Then in the next deal.A circle of companions haveing grown together as a grove of weathered trees.With branches and roots woven inseperable.
