Outside looking in

Louisiana

You may have seen this before from the opposite window as Gayle did a very beautiful photo around Christmas time and another from the inside looking out in February. This is my house and the swamp maple is so beautiful this year.

A beautiful look into your house and live that you shared with is. I love the window, so pretty and what great memories you must have build in this house, no flood can destroy those.

I fell in love with that room. It truly has a sense of peace to it.

Looks as good outside looking in as it does inside looking out.

I like the organic forms contrasted with the rigid regular structure of the window. I enjoyed the story too. So nice that such things can stay in the family.

Lovely shot of the window. I really like the red of the maple. The bedroom shot is so beautiful. How wonderful to live in the home you grew up in.

I like your sense of tradition & family, Coleen. I love that bedroom & the exposed maple & is that cotton I'm seeing in the vase.
I remember Gayles window shots & this is lovely too.

I'd never have guessed that was a maple but it has beautiful
spinners! Your other shot is so peaceful looking too.
