3/16: Rancho Los Cerritos

I got my Sigma 70-300mm APO Super Macro II today. I took this photo and several others at the beautiful
Rancho Los Cerritos in Long Beach, CA. I'd never heard of this place, but saw a sign on the freeway and took a chance. Here's another shot from the same room:

Thanks. What really bugged me was the screens on the windows. It's supposed to be a true-to-life restoration of the room as it was in the 1860's and they did a great job except for the screens on the windows!

Cool shot. Reminds me of pre-computer, pre-typewriter time. Like the end of the day before the sun is about to go down and someone's planning to work into the night.
