Steve..Dedicated fisherman..It means you get out alot and commune with nature and enjoy the still..which provides you rich material for photography such as this shot. I'm loving the background as the drop for these weepy ringed ices.. Very Good shot..~Irish

MFC, Thanks for the kind words. The water you see behind is indeed a small 'waterfall' that was splashing on the branches causing the icicles. This was taken at 11,000 feet in the fall. As a possessed fly fisherman for over 30 years, I can’t think of a time the weather was too bad to get my line wet (does 5 minutes count?) :) Steve

Steve, I really like the pattern that the icicles make as they "flow" off the branches...nice DOF to set them all off. Is that a waterfall/stream in the background? You must be a very dedicated fisherman :) MFC
