This limited run of less than 100 pieces was originally supposed to have been a Gold Class knife, but that was decided against late in the design. 95 total pieces were made but two were damaged during assambly and without any extra parts they had to be scrapped. It is the first latchless balisong to come out of the BM shop since the custom days, quite a feat considering that BM had announced that it would not release any more latchless balisongs due to legal issues. It features thick old-stock 45/48 series stainless steel handles, a superior-grade S30V blade in a unique CNC hollow-ground bowie profile, and elegant script for the blade markings.

Well-known and acclaimed Bali-Song sheath maker Leatherman designed a one-of-a-kind custom leather sheath for this run that comes with the knife.

Neither the blade profile nor the sheath design will be made again. The blade and box are numbered.
