20-02-05 amaryllis

Snow, snow and more snow today.

It didn't dampen my spirits though they've actually started building walls out at our site, albeit
these are someone elses walls. But the good thing is our build is the next one to start!!!!

Usually I would be very excited about the snow, as we live only an hour from the nearest ski centre
in Scotland. However as we're saving every penny at the moment, added to the pressures of box
packing, I couldn't really justify the trip. Pity really, it's beautiful up there at the moment.

Instead, we spent the day helping set a new DVD player up, which was where I took this picture, and
the other versions below. And looking at a similar house to ours to get an idea of scale, the
house is built next to a wood which was where the daffodil photo's came from.

Anyway the day was all about hope - I hope I don't miss too much ski-ing this year. I hope Spring
really is on it's way (which would explain these flowers!). I hope the weather gets better so that
they can get cracking on with our house.

Was snowing here this morning, but it has all melted now. Lovely muted shot, Dom.

The snow trips will be around forever Dom. If not this year then next, etc, ect:
The flowers look good in the low light.

I can see where you would have trouble deciding which one to use. They're all good, it's just a matter of what mood you're in at the moment, eh? Very pretty, and a great background.
