21-02-05 love on the rocks

No not my love, my love is, firmly, neat(?) - what I'm attempting to say is that my love is
whatever the opposite of on the rocks is?!

Someone elses love is on the rocks by the look of it.

I found this walking home this afternoon, and seeing how tragic it looked, was busy berating myself
for missing it earlier. Only to remember that this morning it would have been under an inch or two
of snow. Thankfully it also spared you a pretty pathetic photo of a crocus in the snow.

I also tried a version of this with a bit more noise added, but it just made the photo a bit too
fussy. And I didn't move the fag end there for dramatic effect before anyone accuses me of it!

Late upload today as I had diving this evening, still practicing rescues, which in a dramatic kind
of way are pretty bloody exciting! The reason of course I'm telling you this is that I've not been
able to "drop in" on everyone from the last couple of days. I'll catch up with the rest of you
tomorrow, promise.

Got to learn about this Aberdonian lark - you'd have been able to "give" this to Catherine no probs! ;)

Nice shot. I too wonder at the story behind this.

Cool shot! Some guy obviously had to come home empty-handed, and try to explain: "honest! Really! i bought you a rose! I promise! I didn't forget! I don't know what happened to it!"

Might have been dropped in a drunken stupor! Well spotted, though.

Dropped after a phone call or just lost...
It tells many stories depending on your mood.

It looks so tragic, wonder what happened?

It is so sad to see these. Hope you were able to rescue these flowers??

A lonely photo. Your lessons sound exciting!

Maybe that's the secret, leave the rose out in the cold and it lasts longer. Most of the ones that you stick in a vase wither away. Treat 'em mean and keep 'em keen, heheh. (plants that is of course).

Wow, you captured a real feeling of sadness here. I wonder what the story is behind the pic ?
