It was quite an eventful day.

Where do I start? Well we were woken up several times during the night, by a couple in the
building, who were obviously not in the spirit of the day. There were things being thrown,
(insults, and physical items too), things being slammed, and a lot of noise.

Eventually we woke up, exchanged cards, or at least went through the charade of "the postman's
just been back and left this for you!". And generally reflected on how lucky I am.

Then we went and paid part of the deposit for our house. Up to this point all we could do was to
pay a reservation fee, which meant that they couldn't sell that plot for a period of time. Now
although I knew we would complete, there was always a nagging doubt that was resolved as soon
as we completed this part of the deal.

Then we signed off on the sale of our home of almost 8 years.

And to top all this off, I reached the half way point of my PAD!
