The Times Square sign can mean something to people who know Times Square BUT:-) a good shot normally needs no location & this is a good shot.

The sign, I'll admit, was a stroke of luck. I didn't discover it until I downloaded the shot. I was very happy to see it b/c it adds to the story, placing the location, with additional impact. ~ Lonnit

I like the Times Square sign in lower right and the general feeling of movement all around the subject.

Yes, her umbrellas was an important element. I feel there's some story here - the chaos and confusion of a tourist alone in the rain, lost and uncomfortable - waaay out of his element.

I enjoy the discussions with you Rod. I like the way you think about the shots. If/when you like my shots it means something b/c you do analyze. Of course the horn-busting is totally my style too! :) ~ Lonnit

I like the calm chaos of this shot & the back end of the girl’s brolly on the left adds a lot to the shot.
