All I did for this image was very simple. I took a shot of a snow covered tree and blurred the image in PS. Then just erased some areas to show the original image.

hi rob...this is a very interesting image..can u elaborate on it ?
it has that clay animation feeling from the old school rudolph the red nosed reindeer 'toons.
