I went looking for this photo as I had a good idea of what I wanted. It was taken about a half hour before sunset. The shadows from the uneven snow bring out some good contrast and shows real depth to the image. I overexposed by one stop from what I metered. It has been a bright and sunny day but is suppose to be cold tonight.
