A friend and I recently had a magical day kayaking the backwaters of Sauvie Island, Oregon and happened on large flocks of these magnificent birds. The day was an 11 in terms of weather and our good luck of witnessing such a display was transcendant. I now have one of your photos on my computer background. Thank you so much. Keep shooting.
