The newlyweds had their honeymoon in Zakopane, a ski resort in the Tatra Mountains,
in the south of Poland, near the Slovakian border. Zakopane is at an altitude of about
1000 m and the snow often remains until April, which is presumably when this photo was taken.
The woman on the right may be my mother's brother Sev's wife, Mina. Sev and Mina
had been married the day after my parents and joined them in Zakopane. In seems that horse
