An unmarked tomb stands conspicuously in the middle of the streets of the Tunis medina. My guess is that it was the resting place of someone important. Rather than make way for a growing city, the city just grew around it.
Another remarkably incongruous image. Light plays a symbolic role here as well --the dead are lost in the shadows, the living street itself is in the light.
