Pieces excavated and salvaged from ruins near the Sanctuary of Caelestis are left by the side of a pathway. It is not clear to me what they are exactly. They've filled up with rainwater and look like they could function as water basins for baptism at the sanctuary. A more undignified interpretation however, would be water troughs for horses!
