I saw this strange remnant of the rock quarry hanging from the ceiling like a stalactite. This angular piece of rock thrusting abruptly down into the dark narrow pathway takes the shape of a chisel but I don't think it was intentional. It is no less a grim reminder of the pain and the pounding that rang through these dark caverns for many centuries.
