Ksar Mourabtine was built in the 12th century but it is still largely intact. The ghorfas here span as high as 4-storeys. Although the construction and materials are very simple, and imperfect to say the least, there is a sense of great order and communal spirit that comes through its very modest architecture, which is evident in many of the ksour around.
