For me one of the most interesting parts of the museum is the restored machine shop. None of the equipment in the shop is original to the mills but it is all period equipment of the type that would have been in use during the mills' heyday. As you would expect power was originally provided by a water mill and this image shows the main drive where it enters the machine shop.
