OK, let me explain this.
The date is June 1973. I had just met a hot chick
at the Skate O Rama in Downey the month before.
I went to Bass Lake, she went to church camp.
Hiking with my friend Chris Hunton, I picked up a piece of
burnt wood from the trail and wrote my name
and hers on this bridge support. Now, July 2004 you can still see it.
It is under the spray painted graffiti, you can still
read Gary Hattrup and Sue Reynolds. Except for the fact
that this proves I have left something scarred by my careless act of vandalism
it's kind of cool. By the way, that hot chick is now my
wife Sue and has been vacationing with me at the lake every year since.
