We trekked over 8 km of mud trails to reach the western shore of Macabebe (we're going back in this pic).
No other vehicle dared to negotiate the trail on this day, as it rained the night before and the mud was unforgiving.

We bogged down several times, but the reliable albeit unflashy Kia 4x4 did its job, and brought us there and back in one piece...8-)
