This is the western seaboard of Macabebe, Pampanga. In the distance loom the mountains of Bataan peninsula.
This mangrove area is teeming with birds and I suspect that only a few birders have reached this remote place.

Unfortunately, we came in at high tide and we were not able to enter the mangroves and photograph the birds.
We just settled for a natural avian concert, listening to the wonderful tunes belted out by the birds.

It is ironic that I heard about this place from wild bird hunters...:-(
